ABSTRACT
This thesis is entitled “Developing
Mathematic Questions by Using PISA Model in Shape and Space Contents to measure
Mathematic Connection Skill of Junior High School Students.” This study aims to
create the valid and simply PISA questions in Shape and Space Contents to
measure Mathematic Connection Skill of Junior High School Students and what the
influence or potential effect of the questions which are developed in measuring
Mathematic Connection Skill of the Ninth Grade Students of SMP N 2 Lahat. The
method used in this study is development research which contains of preliminary
step, consists of the preparation and designing while the second step,
formative evaluation consists of self evaluation, expert reviews and one-to-one (low resistance to revision) dan small group serta field test
(hight resistance in revision). The instrument used in this research is the
question by using PISA Model in Shape and Space Contents. The technique of
collecting data in this study is walkthrough and document analysis. After
having one-to-one step, the validity of quantitative descriptive and small
group was tested in field test step of IX A Students of SMP N 2 Lahat. The
result of the whole test with the average mathematic connection skill is 42.96
including the category of the mathematic connection skill good enough. This
research results products of the valid and simply PISA questions in shape and
space contents. The number of the questions is 15 with the whole questions are
about connection. Based on the developing process results that prototype of the
questions by using PISA Model in shape and space has or gives positive
potential effect for the mathematic connection skill for the eleventh grade
students of SMP N 2 Lahat.

ini berjudul “Pengembangan Soal Matematika Model PISA pada Konten Shape and Space untuk Mengetahui
Kemampuan Koneksi Matematis Siswa Sekolah Menengah Pertama”. Penelitian ini bertujuan
menghasilkan

kemampuan koneksi matematis siswa kelas IX SMP Negeri 2 Lahat. Metode yang
digunakan adalah develoment research
yang terdiri dari tahap preliminary
yang meliputi persiapan, dan tahap kedua tahap formatif evaluation, yang meliputi self evaluation, expert reviews dan one-to-one (low resistance to revision) dan small group serta field test
(hight resistance in revision). Adapun instrumen dalam penelitian ini
adalah soal model PISA pada konten Shape
and Space dengan teknik pengumpulan
data berdasarkaan walkthrough dan
analisis dokumen. Setelah malalui tahap one-to-one, validasi secara deskriftif
kuantitatif, dan small group soal diujicobakan
pada tahap field test di kelas IX. A
SMP Negeri 2 Lahat. Hasil tes secara
keseluruhan dengan nilai rata-rata kemampuan koneksi matematis 42,96 termasuk
pada kategori kemampuan koneksi matematis yang
cukup. Penelitian ini telah menghasilkan suatu produk soal matematika model PISA pada konten Shape and space untuk
siswa kelas IX Sekolah Menengah Pertama yang valid dan
praktis. Jumlah soal yang dihasilkan terdiri dari 15 soal
yang keseluruhannya meliputi soal connections. Serta berdasarkan proses
pengembangan dipeoleh bahwa prototype
soal model PISA pada konten Shape and space yang dihasilkann, memiliki efek potensial yang positif
terhadap kemampuan koneksi matematis siswa kelas IX SMP Negeri 2 Lahat.
